Now I take a lot of heat for giving her and her little uneducated, lap dog and alleged horse trainer, Dave “Doink” Duquette too much air time but when I see a lie, smell a lie and hear a lie I just have to call it…a LIE! I will always call out the cheats and the thieves and these two self-anointed (with horse blood) horse slaughter supporters are criminal in their distortion of facts and the truth. So nuff said, they are losers and they are about to go down with a great big hollow thud.
So today I leave the expose’ up to someone else, someone who took the time pen a few words to the fine Secretary of Agriculture and truly let him know what a demented, elected State Representative was saying about him ON A PUBLIC FORUM! I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you, Wyoming House Representative, Sue Wallis’s, Facebook ramblings regarding your recent statement on the horse slaughter permit issue. First, I thank you for your stance on recognizing our horses deserve a better end than slaughter and the public, be they foreign or domestic have the right to know the food they are eating is safe for human consumption.
As you can see, below, Ms. Wallis is quite irate and rather inappropriate for a sitting state representative on an open internet page. As I’m sure you are aware, Sue Wallis, is a founding member of the pro horse slaughter group, United Horsemen, and is connected with The Calvary Group, she is a founding principle with Unified Equine, Chevall LLC, and International Equine Business Association (IEBA), I’m sure there other created businesses which I may have forgotten to include. I felt you should be made aware of the base depravity of the pro-slaughter movement. You may also be interested in the following video which was produced by the employee of Valley Meats in Rosewell, NM, he has been hired by Rick de los Santos as his kill buyer, his name is Tim Sappington. I believe Mr Sappington is indicative of the true face of the pro horse slaughter proponents and is prima facia evidence of their intents… money, not the welfare of the horse, strictly money, not the welfare of the consumer, just money.

I don’t give ‘ol’ what’s her name’ a second thought. I don’t believe she has near the following she’d have us believe, nor that Tom Vilsack even knows who she is…or cares! She’s formed so many LLC’s under different names giving herself such titles as President, CEO, COO, Founder, etc. she’s got to be approaching some sort of record and any reasonably educated person can see she is simply a narcissist. (It’s easy to give yourself grandiose titles in a company with 3 employees and one of those recently died.)

It’s time for Sue Wallis to be be brought down off her “pedestal” and recognized for the self serving, blood thirsty, liar that she is. I can’t understand how she is still a Rep. of Wyoming. She is a disgrace to her position, the State of Wyoming, and the country. She should be tarred and feathered and sent packing!

Certainly hope Congress will reinstate the ban on horse meat inspections which unfortunately has to be done every year unless the SAFE Act is passed. Activists always have to remain vigilant and thank you RT and everyone who does this on our behalf. As for the scum, who shot the young sorrel horse because he could, he did that to show activists that their predatory business will continue regardless. This person is thoroughly cruel and dangerous.

Any news that gets SSW “Pissed” is good news to me. And if you made the mistake of watching that video, keep in mind that that poor colt met a much kinder death than the horses who make it to the slaughterhouse.
I made the mistake of watching that yesterday, and some of the “salami” video, and I had nightmares last night, over and over. It doesn’t help that the sorrel colt reminded me of my horse when he was a yearling.
I’m sick of the whole debate. We wouldn’t think of interfering in India, where they don’t eat cows. We don’t interfere in asian countries where they eat cats and dogs, we don’t suggest that Muslims are silly for not eating pork. Maybe the rest of the world should realize that we have earned a little sensitivity too. I don’t think we need to have a reason for not slaughtering our horses. We just don’t do it and we don’t want to. Get the foreign money and lobbyists out of here.

Excellent comments, Redhorse! I also would like to know why charges have not been filed against this man for animal cruelty! There was nothing obviously “wrong” with that colt! And his comments made it clear this was an “in your face” video! If there was a video posted by someone killing a dog on a lead rope the Humane Society and the cops would be all over it!! Why is this man not being arrested? And look at the trash heap he lives in! I don’t get it.

De Los Santos and his attorney seem to be the media darlings of NM and just yesterday they said they were only weeks away from opening- that they just needed their final inspection. In a call to the USDA this morning I was told that there were many actions still needed to take place. Hopefully none will now.

When I saw the title “Horse Playing Dead,” I thought it must be a ‘trick’ horse trained to go down and roll over. I was left shocked and shaking. In that moment, I found myself confronted by an unimaginable magnitude of evilness, hatefulness and apathy. Knowing people such as these exist among us is frightening and troublesome. We don’t need slaughter houses, we need more facilities for dangerously mental ill people. I wonder if Tim Sappington would have shot an ‘animal rights activist’ instead of the horse if given the opportunity? Frightening man. Frightening people. Horrible industry.

I veiwed the video yesterday and thought the same thing, how easy would it be with his hatred of animal acivists to do the same to a human?
And this was posted on youtube, should he not have been arrested-is this not the ultimalte in animal abuse and is this what ranchers are trying to protect on their ranches when they make statments that they don’t want anyone telling them how to treat their animals?
This man is sick and should not be allowed around guns or animals or even society.

On the front page of my local East Oregonian there is an article about David Duquette who states that he plans a $3 million “rehabilitation training and education” center on the same small (by western standards) 300 acre property as the horse slaughter plant he still insists he will build. This is in response to yesteday’s EO editorial where it clearly stated that WE LOVE OUR HORSES and will not tolerate their abuse here in Duquette’s home county. I would send a link to this ludricrious story but my copy/paste isn’t cooperating.
Duquette, like Wallis, lives in a fantasy world. He has apparently reached out to a nascent group who want to provide horse therapy and offered them an imaginary covered arena for their training to try to gain legitimacy for his grand design. Total cost including the slaughter plant expected to be $11 million – unsecured, of course. That kind of $ excites local yo-yos.
Please post responses into that EO story to show your disgust for this madness. People in Umatilla county, Oregon, need to hear how the rest of the nation views this delusional lunatic.

I think Tom Vilsack received many such letters yesterday and I’m sure he will see more today. I know I wrote him. There is also a USDA blog, yesterday they were blogging about Ag Day so I made sure to comment thanking Mr. Vilsack there and comment about horse slaughter. Any place to get the word out.

I stored this video also just in case it got pulled. I nearly screamed out loud when this bastard shot that beautiful animal just for fun. The only thing I can take from this that is at all positive, is that it put a public face on an ugly business and one they are trying hard to soft sell to the public. This really exposed the genuine nature of the pro-slaughter crowd.

There is another advocate on fb who has reported this video to the FBI. FBI said since the video was some 9 months old and no one else complained–basically they weren’t going to do anything. That person gave us a link and I also filed a complaint.
What’s scary is this is the kind of mentality that family members live with. Makes me worry for their safety. What about this mans kids who if they had an opposing view on something–what would he do?
I also encourage others to file with the FBI. This video really does need to go viral because people need to understand what their politicians are voting for.

The sick thing about the video is that he recorded it and posted it. I know I had an old horse and could not afford the vet to put her down. I called the rendering company and had them come over and shoot her for me. It never crossed my mind to send her to slaughter, not once. This young sorrel did not deserve to die this way but it is waaaay better than the slaughter pipeline. And if this is sappington’s way of showing the public how humane horse slaughter is, this isn’t horse slaughter, it is putting a perfectly healthy animal, that doesn’t need to die, down with a bullet. It doesn’t show anything more than his disregard and disrespect for life.

This was nothing more than him trying to make a statement. From what I’ve been told by someone who has watched the video that his aim was off some and he did not hit the right spot. I do not know if this is true or not, because I’ve never had to have a horse put down this way before. I have asked my vet to watch the video and give me her professional opinion.

This threat and murder on YouTube makes this man ineligible to have a business that deals in slaughter. His business licesnse needs to be revoked, just as if they would disallow someone fromflying who publicly threatens to bomb a plane. Since he dedicated this killing to animal rights activists, this is conspiracy (evidenced by taping it) to commit, and then follow through, with a hate crime. He wanted to threaten and intimidate animal rights people.That is a federal offense. New Mexico may or may not have animal cruelty laws in effect that cover this criminal offense, but the feds sure do. I am waiting to hear about the arrest.

Personally I would like to thank Tim Sappington for stepping up to be the Poster Boy for everything we (anti-horse slaughter advocates) stand for. He couldn’t have done a better service than to release his porn. This is a sick sadistic son of a bitch; who really should be facing animal cruelty charges just like Michael Vick for what he did in that video. I saw the whole video before it was edited and taken down; it is shocking and vile. And just goes to show the mentality of those that want to bring slaughter to the US. While the crazies are blaming Peta and the animal rights activists I don’t believe many of them even know about what has been happening to the horses. They have a lot of agendas but horse slaughter is not one of them. But this man’s angry insane actions, like he is blaming strangers for all of his personal problems is the type that would walk into a room full of people and shoot every person there. I would say this man is very dangerous. This film needs to be shown to the local police department and see if they would take a look at his back ground and find out if he has ever been in jail or prison. What this guy did to that horse is like a neighbor killing his dog because someone complained about it running loose. You may hear a lot about this happening in the future.
Something like this happened in the UK several years ago when the bottom fell out of the horse business for some reason, and the breeders were going out to their own pastures and shooting their brood mares. Thousands were sent to slaughter. The idea that these over breeders have a easy way to dispose of their horses is the prime driving force behind all of this cruelty, as we all know.
