A wild horse advocacy group is backing three lawsuits challenging the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) over its treatment of requests for information.
The Wild Horse Freedom Federation alleges that the BLM has violated its duties under the Freedom of Information Act.
The federation says it is funding three lawsuits alleging breaches of duty by the BLM in respect of its responsibilities under the act.
The nonprofit group says the records sought are in connection with the BLM’s Wild Horse and Burro Program.
The vice-president and director of the federation, Debbie Coffey, is the plaintiff in the cases.
The lawsuits are pending in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, DC…(CONTINUED)

It’d tragic that these funds have to be used to fight our democratic right to information. All over the country state and county officials think.they.can just do.what ever.they.want. Dismiss abuse, hide it, covet it up or what ever. The Good Old Boys of the West appear to.feel they.don’t.have to answer.to.anyone including the President of the.United.States. We are many they.are a minority. Somebody.better.start kicking some ass all the wsg up to the woman who was appointed Secretzfy of the Interior. For a woman she sure doesn’t act like one. She has the power to kick some.asses.of those in the BLM. I guess she is so thankful she has a job, she can’t do it right. If things go the right way in Nov. some big changes will be coming down the pike. Why cant.a group of citizens file a law suit to? Maybe they will see WE are all tired of their lies and the inhumane treatment. Of the Wild Horses and Burros!!! We need to the some of these officials to.Sonoran cactus in the.Sun until they see the light just like they did in the old days

This agency’s corrupt genocide on our Wild Horses (and all our Wildlife) for the sole purpose to special interests groups of Ranchers, Oiler’s, Miner’s and Hunter’s, is a overt display of a government agency gone rouge against the majority of the public’s civil rights, who have made their wishes known to protect the lives of the Horses (and all Wildlife). All Wildlife agencies need immediate re-organizing to stop this continuing murder of over 200 Million of our Wildlife a year.
