“It has historically been the norm, here at SFTHH, to post something uplifting, funny, goofy or just plain hilarious in an effort to buoy advocate’s spirits after a week of fighting for those who have no voice. But over the last few weeks we have shifted a bit more towards spiritual strength and the message that you are not alone as our struggles increase and weigh on our hearts.
Over the past several weeks we have had family and friends struggle with virtual death watches, horses lost to illness, separations and of course the gruesome fight against the BLM’s never ending campaign to cruelly manage our wild equines into extinction. A heavy load for all to bear.
My intent, today, is not to wax religious on you but through personal experience attempt to convey the message that regardless of your circumstances, you are not alone. Don’t allow the darkness to pile up upon you but instead to seek the light of righteousness in knowing that you are not only doing the right thing but you are also not a solitary player in this game called life.
We all struggle, hurt and question our direction but the mere fact that you are here; trying to help and make a difference speaks volumes to the size of your heart and the direction of your soul.
Have a peaceful day, my friends, and regardless of what the future holds, we are going to go though it with heads held high, eyes raised with friends and family standing beside us, united as one. We will prevail.

A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.
She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”
The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!”

Culling of Kosciuszko brumbies to be banned under plan to protect ‘national icons’

(photo) “Wild brumbies have been roaming the Australian alps for almost 200 years and are part of the cultural fabric and folklore of the high country,” Mr Barilaro said
Deputy NSW Premier John Barilaro said the cultural significance of the brumbies needed to be recognised.
He said the “Brumbies Bill” would put an end to any suggestion the animals should be culled.
“The heritage management plan will specifically prohibit lethal culling of the brumby, aerial or otherwise, and will identify those areas in the park where brumbies can roam without causing significant environmental harm,” Mr Barilaro said.
“If brumbies are found in highly-sensitive alpine areas of Kosciuszko National Park, resources will be allocated towards relocation first, followed by re-homing, should population numbers grow too high.

Having many issues with deaths in our immediate family, but try to be there for the horses. Many thanks for “Feel Good Sunday”.. It helps to motivate so many of us to continue the fight for the innocent ones who have no voice! You keep me grounded when I feel hopeless! Gotta Luv all of you for that!! You will be blessed!
