BLM Wild Horse and Burro Advisory “Bored” Meeting

Well, it’s that wonderful time of year, again, where hand picked hunting, cattle and grazing interests sit around and listen to BLM representatives spout erroneous numbers, rumor and innuendo while concerned American tax payers get kicked in the teeth when they attempt to articulate the facts on wild horse and burro issues. Ain’t it sweet? Nothing like being called a lier while you watch and listen to the real government paid liers smearing the truth and painting any picture that they deem fit to paint, usually the planned extinction of the last of our wild equines on public lands.

Controversial Salt Lake BLM Wild Horse Concentration Camp to be Shuttered

Last spring, the Butterfield Canyon Wild Horse and Burro facility, in Herriman Utah, gained worldwide attention when wild horse advocate Lisa Friday video taped and uploaded to YouTube through the Cloud Foundation a heart wrenching recording which documented the local wild horse prisoners so mired in mud and manure that they could nor did did move during her four-hour visit. Friday’s calls for assistance went unheeded until the video went public and only then did the BLM launch another of their infamous internal investigations where it was determined by the BLM that the BLM was, of course, not at fault but it was noted that an excess of mud and manure had accumulated but it was the fault of local weather conditions.

NY Times Climbs into Bed with BLM, AGAIN

If you want to get the straight poop on what’s happening to the last of our native wild equines on the public lands of the Western United States, don’t open up the New York Times. The Times have been hacking at the Wild Horses over the past several weeks, from featuring a flowery and nonfactual article on the BLM’s new Wild Horse and Burro program manager, Joan Guilfoyle, who didn’t have the energy or kahonies to answer questions from a roomful of scientists and equine professionals the following week, to today’s article on how rough and tough it is for the BLM to manage all of those overpopulating and overgrazing silly wild horses on public lands. Kiss my backside and bark at the moon, the city boys got it all assbackwards again.

New BLM Wild Horse and Burro Honcho Sends Advocates Into Twilight Zone

Please excuse me while I slip off my sport coat, dress jeans and Sunday boots. We’ve been busy, the last several days, at the first annual International Equine Conference in D.C. and proper protocol required that I look, and act presentable. Which, I might add, was quite a chore when it came time to introducing the new director of the BLM’s broken Wild Horse and Burro program, Joan Guilfoyle; you know, the federal employee who appeared in an article in the New York Times, last week, spouting misnomer, incorrect facts and high school girlie sort of spew about how much she loves the pretty little horsies; that’s the one. It’s time for me to put my muck boots, crumpled straw hat and holey jeans back on because we got a few stalls to muck out.

BLM Uses Junk Science to Attack Another Wild Horse Herd

“I truly believe these animals should be left wild and free,” said Lisa Friday, a wild horse advocate from Richmond, Va., who traveled to Utah to observe the roundup.

“The alternative is natural selection,” she said, noting that the forces of nature are effective in population control.

Friday also disputes the BLM’s findings of deficient range on Winter Ridge.
