NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) – The man behind the Lebanon trucking company shuttered last year by the federal government after two interstate mishaps involving trailers loaded with horses headed to slaughter is in trouble again.
Dorian Ayache has been indicted on a long list of federal charges, including continuing to truck horses to slaughterhouses along the Mexican border even after his trucking company was shut down, and trying to destroy evidence.
Also charged is the owner of a second company, Theresa Vincent, who the government says continued the trucking operation, just under a new name.
Ayache first came to the Channel 4 I-Team’s attention in early 2012 when a load of horses he was hauling to slaughter tipped over on the interstate in Williamson County, killing three horses.
Then, it happened again a few months later, when another load of horses Ayache was sending to the meat packing plant overturned in south Nashville.
Both times, federal regulators cited his rigs and drivers for safety violations, and the U.S. Department of Transportation shut Ayache’s business down.
But as the I-Team reported in August 2012, we found Ayache continuing to operate under a new company name: Teri’s Farm.
Now, both Ayache and Vincent, the owner of Teri’s Farm, have been indicted by a federal grand jury.
Investigators say Ayache continued to truck horses after the D.O.T. ordered him not to and then allegedly erased a series of emails in an attempt to cover it up.
Vincent is accused of lying to the grand jury, saying she hadn’t had phone contact with Ayache when she allegedly had.
There’s a third company involved in all this, too. According to the indictment, after the feds shut down Ayache’s Three Angels Farms and then Teri’s Farm, the investigators say Ayache continued to operate under a third name.

grandmagregg-great video, my family has not eaten meat since they took the pledge with me(and they have not missed it)I will use this video to help in my efforts to go meat free for good-I have not eaten meat for 5 years now and I could write a book on the way I feel and the medications I have been able to do away with-but some people even family can be a hard sell.

OMG, Finally got this idiot and his cohorts…… Slaughter is such a sick business, this horse slaughter is allowing criminal’s in every facet of it make money off the abuse and death’s of our horses. Something really wrong with this picture, HOW many years will we as a Nation allow this to happen, and some want it HERE, as if it isn’t bad enough they want it here, just makes me crazy thinking about it…. You CANNOT tell me that every single politician is oblivious to the facts of horse slaughter, they are ALLOWING this to continue…..Really sad that our culture is loosing it’s humanity for our animals…. Basic lesson in life when we were young to love god’s animal’s, we are loosing this and once it is ALL GONE, we ALL WILL BE TOO, deservedly so…….

I thought Animal Angels got him last year and had his trucks stopped right in their tracks. Now he’s back at it again? With yet another name and trying to hide his activities? That tells me he knew better and felt he was above the law. I’d call that contempt. Don’t think that carries as much weight as the other stuff but one never knows.
I just hope he goes bye bye on vacation to a nice Fed prison for a long time to come. This man is a menace to everyone of us.

I want to see what punishment they hit him with. Should involve confiscation of business assets, such as trucks, trailers and anything else involved in continuing his illegal business practices. Anyone who is traveling on the road with trucks contracted by Ayache is unknowingly taking their lives into his hands. He doesn’t care, in fact could care less. Life means nothing to him, his own life must be one of misery. Will follow this and and anxiously awaiting a punishment that will make the other horse whores think twice about killing our horses and endangering the lives of the other people that travel the same roads as the KBs

And this took how many months and years? And he was allowed with co-conspirators to change names, hide names and get flunkies to front him? Ummmmm……seems DOT has some serious issues.

People who think horse slaughter is needed are idiot’s! Horse slaughter is inhumane period! Let nature take care of the wild horses, have regulations on breeding, know where your horse is going when selling it, don’t own a horse if you can’t afford to take care of it. Horse slaughter is barbaric and the people who support it are ignorant, heartless, greedy and have no compassion for living breathing innocent animal’s who depend on us for their welfare. What’s wrong with people who support this heinous practice! What’s our beautiful country coming to. I am just saddened and sick over seeing these magnificent spiritual creatures destroyed for man’s personal gain.

I want to see Sue Wallis attempt to makethis look good, some more of those hard working horse industry “saviours and good guys” she brags on. Really this is just the tip of what will happen if it reopened, now we ALL read this accident took place twice in USA borders, risking lives of animals and people. Running without a business doesnt stop these guys. They are still thinking they are above the law. I also want to outline how these events played out in past months: New York trailer fire kills all horses, horses killed by this guy, twice, george baker facing the law, leachman, tom davis snuck out again, the missing horses listed on shedrow, deceptive blm horse slaughter, new mexico rangers take peoples private animals to slaughter because of navajo obtaining our tax payers dollars. Now with all this handful of issues if Congress doesnt stop this were going to have to fire alot of people in politics. So much for horse slaughter doesnt draw shady characters and crime. I think this is enough evidence for that.

It’s easy to get an EIN and start a trucking company or whatever company you want. It’s easy to take the tax breaks they offer you that the average person can’t get. It past time that this scumbag got caught, charged, and that the actual charges stick. I’d like to see all of them shut down for good so if they succeed without screwing up the case, I’ll be happy.

we need coggins and health certificates when transporting horses across state lines. and why are not these horses checked after each state line . make it impossible for the horses to get to mexico and canada.

We see these rickety trailers, overcrowded, going south on I-25 every time we travel on it. Isn’t it amazing the state police never see that, but they see a truck driver with 3 or more million miles under his belt driving down the road with not a mishap and they stop him? Could be as my nephew said, “we have to make a quota every day so we pick easy ones.”
