~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Garnet Pasquale was fiery, feisty and fierce about saving wild horses & burros from extinction. She spent countless hours working on their behalf, especially the wild horses near Las Vegas, NV, with the Spring Mountain Alliance.  Garnet was a loyal friend to the wild horses & burros, and a great friend to many advocates who were lucky enough to know her.  With much love, this show is dedicated to our dear friend, Garnet.
This radio show is co-hosted by Debbie Coffey, Director of Wild Horse Affairs at Wild Horse Freedom Federation and Marti Oakley, PPJ Gazette. This series of radio shows will feature upcoming guests including Elizabeth Lovegrove of Wild Horses Kimberly in Australia, who will talk about the recent aerial culling of 7,000 brumbies (Australia’s “feral”/wild horses).
  1. So sorry to hear about the passing of dear Garnet. She was my true friend and a true friend and champion for the wild horses and burros and was not at all fooled by all the barrage of misinformation put out by the “know-it’alls”. She possessed a burning desire to see the wild horses and burros resume their age-old place in America and was very intelligent in assessing their status and in presenting wise solutions for their restoration. We must honor her life by making sure these wonderful projections for the wild horses become a reality in our world and quickly. We can do it. The inspiration of her life and dedication and her continuing spirit will spur us on to Victory! God bless and Godspeed, dear friend Garnet. You will be pleased from Above of the great progress for the horses and burros and their rightful freedom that we are about to make.
  2. This was such a warm and uplifting show. I think Garnet would have been pleased with this tribute to her life’s work.
    We don’t take anything with us when we leave this Earth. What we leave behind and the lives that we’ve touched and connected with….THAT’S what it’s all about.
  3. I was new to WH&B advocacy in 2008 when I first spoke to Garnet. I sensed then her strength of purpose in protecting our precious herds and her example has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement. Garnet generously shared her Postcards to Congress campaign materials with me and called often with updates on her WH&B advocacy activities. I am sad that Garnet is not here with us now but take comfort in that thought that she is still fighting for the wild ones., Power on Garnet!
