New Mexico Supreme Court Kicks Valley Meat’s Behind
Rick De Los Santos continues to fight to butcher American horses even when the federal government has made his quest for equine blood totally unobtainable for the next two years.
ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Thought we had reached an end to the fight over horse slaughter in New Mexico? Think again.
The New Mexico Supreme Court has denied Valley Meat Company’s request to have the judge in the district court case removed.
They believe Judge Matthew Wilson lacks impartiality.
While Congress pulled funding for federal inspections at horse slaughter plants earlier this year, it’s only temporary, and Valley Meat continues to fight for the right to open.
Attorney General Gary King is seeking a permanent order blocking horse slaughter in the state.

This is like a war and it is NOT over. Push like crazy for the safe act and end this nightmare fit the horses for good. The Ag bill did NOT end horse slaughter. They are still being transported out of the country where they are slaughtered. You can bet that promises have been made and money has changed hands to change three laws again. They WILL try again. Let’s end it got good.

Please circulate this. We need to unite our voices. There are so many of us in every state. 1000’s and 1000’s of voices united to stop this. Stop the smoke and mirrors, the lies and deceit.

As soon as the Horse Warriors let their guard down these proslaughter blood thirsty monsters will always be in the lurking in the shadows to strike. Horse Warriors always need to pay attention to these deceitful proslaughter proponents that want to slaughter equines. No matter what type of horses’ wild, thoroughbreds, quarter, show, just all equines, even mules and donkeys we must protect them. Yes, they will keep on trying.

New Mexico Environment Dept. should not renew his Discharge for ANT species at this location. The Environmental concerns are too great. Close him down and make him fill in the lagoons and restore the environment as much as possible.

I am sure the BLM does want the horse slaughter business so they can get rid of the older horses and un fit horses this way , Make calls to the White house and tell the president this is not what the public wants and , Valley Meats is not an operation to do what it is to for the land and water, they still have cattle rotting from the cattle slaughter they did a few years back .
