By Carl Mrozek

“In honor of Dads everywhere, CBS Sunday Morning will feature wild burro jacks shepherding their family bands in the Black Mountains of Arizona, where I filmed them this spring. The nature segment is the last one of this magazine-style program.

Enjoy the burro clip and the wild world around you !”

  1. Wild fathers! So few of us get to see this kind of wild burro family action. Thank you Carl Mrozek and thank you R.T.

My own father was known to rescue animals in need and he understood that “… they are not underlings; they are other Nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth.” ― Henry Beston

    • This link above is to a story by and news where Mary Apple out of the Rawlings, Wyoming office of the BLM says wild horses should go to slaughter. The article How are they killing wild horses by Amanda onion was written regarding the murder and reward for wild horses several years ago. This article shows that yes the Bureau is stating that If the new owner wishes to sell their horse after they purchase it to recoup their money they should be allowed to slaughter. She also says they ought to be dogfood. (Horsemeat in dog food is banned in the entire USA)
