The voice of the American horse is being heard across this great land; from the vanishing cries of the terrified wild ones to the death screams of the horses headed across the border to slaughter, their voices are being heard. Those voices are reaching a new volume because the vocal cords for the horses are you, each and every one of you who care about the welfare and safety of our national treasure are making a difference by standing shoulder to shoulder in defense of those who cannot speak for themselves. But the very passion and power that fuels this movement could also be the instrument of its demise if it loses focus and turns inwards upon ourselves versus outwards toward the enemy.
“I pledge Allegiance to the Mustangs
of the United States of American and to the Icon
for which they stand, one symbol understood,
undeniable, with liberty and freedom for all.” ~R.T. Fitch
HOUSTON – (SFTHH) The BLM’s much contested Twin Peaks stampede began amidst a cloud of controversy on August 11th in Northeastern California. The aerial assault is scheduled to last 6 weeks with a total of 2,000 wild horses and burros set to be placed behind bars to endure a lifetime of imprisonment and potential sterility. Setting the stage paranoid BLM officials over reacted by calling in county Sheriff Deputies and Federal Rangers in the advent that a passive equine welfare advocate might “do something” to disrupt the roar of helicopter blades and stampeding horses. Much to their chagrin, nothing happened.
HOUSTON (SFTHH) – Yesterday, a federal appeals court rejected a plea to stop a planned Bureau of Land Management (BLM) roundup stampede of thousands of wild horses and burros in Northern California.
HOUSTON -(SFTHH) Nebraska’s Parole Board has informed sources that convicted wild horse killer, Jason Meduna, will come up for review during the month of August with no disclosed date. The review is not public although public comment is welcomed.
His four, small legs pounded and slipped through the snow, rocks and ice. He was loosing her, he couldn’t keep up. Through the blowing snow and the roaring sound from above she kept running and running as fast as she could.
Last week the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) fell right off from the radar screen. Besides conducting their murderous and heinous crimes on private property, so that the press and taxpaying public cannot observe, they turned off virtually every form of electronic communication. It all fit the pattern of cloak and dagger, dark and dirty acts needing to be concealed and of course; they are not only above the law but well beyond being burdened with any fair and honest public opinion. So it came as no surprise to me that their paranoia continued to grow.
