  1. Thanks for all of the kind words, everyone. Special thanks to the two organizations who nominated me as it was clearly not solicited. I believe that having equine advocates on the board would be a benefit to the program and the horses, themselves. Currently, pro-slaughter individuals make up 50% of the board’s roles and they are not shy about sharing their point of view.

We shall see what happens, but thanks to all of you as you help us show that we mean business and we will put our money where our mouths are!!!!

    • El capitain, your crew is with you, i hopeyou are force for change! Real advocation is needed, we know you wont buckle and give in but work to do the best possible outcome for the horses. I have learned you can be a humble man, horse proud, defiant cowboy, humorous to a fault, destined to work hard, you are an encouragement to all. We are glad and grateful to be on your side for the horses, you say what you mean, you mean what you say. Cant be more plain than that! Congratulations, youll do well, when the tough get going, you will stand strong for the horses, we know it!

  5. RT, a much deserved nomination – you would do an outstanding job for the wild horses and burros!! Do we send letters/emails of support for your nomination?

  6. RT, John Holland and so many other advocates would be great.

I can’t wait to see how the killers ignore, dismiss Mr Fitch’s nomination.

Technically, I think it will show how stacked the system and interpretation of the 1971 Act for wild equines is really functioning.

    Go RT, GO!!!!

  7. R.T. would bring his passion and understanding of wild horses and burros to the board. He would also bring an understanding about the citizens who value their presence on the range. R. T. would also bring some diverse life experiences outside of the horse world that would help him figure out how to work with other members of the board whose viewpoints he may not share. Best wishes.

  11. Well, I have to say my heart skipped a beat when I read that RT is nominated to be on the Advisory board. I hope with all of my being that he gets on the board. Our wild horses and burros certainly need his wisdom, experience, and to speak for them. Like others, if there is anything we can do to secure this position for you please let us know. Thank you for all that you do.
