  2. Terry and I thought that we had a barn full of rescued scene theives, Simone has us beat hands down. We tried to make a PSA, last year, and our Harley screwed up both the beginning and the end…but we love him dearly. Check it out:

  4. Both videos informative and enjoyable. I agree… Simones’ video I was repeatedly distracted! I agree with Bonnie that education is key. Informative videos are a great media to get the word out as important horse issues surface. Appreciate the shares!

  7. The horses get top billing! But the message is clear–breeder/owner responsibility. Clinics for gelding. Humane euthanasia —-plan on it when you purchase a horse. For BLM– leave the horses on the ranges. Follow the mandate to manage them on the ranges. Remove the cattle/livestock. This is the USA–we can do anything–but it’s got to be the Right thing. I just signed a petition against an artist who used 9000 butterflies in a “work of art”. Another tragedy to worry about.

  8. Re: Sale Authority and Adopted Wild Horses from BLM
    Vaccinations were:
    E. Encephalomyelitis
    W. Encephalomyelitis
    Rhinopneumontis
    Streptococus Equine
    Tetnus
    Influenza
    W. Nile
    Rabies
    Dewormed (Ivermectin)

    So … are any of these considered toxic by EU?
    I believe they all are?
    These were all given soon after being captured so that points to the fact that all Wild Horses in BLM long and short term holding have received the same vaccinations/medications.
    And for any of these that then go to KB, that points to:
    1) fraudulent sales and heath paperwork and/or
    2) selling right off the range with subsequent fraudulent bookkeeping in the BLM offices.

  9. The EU is the fraudulent body responsible for the loopholes that allow kill buyers to buy horses for slaughter.
    That’s why the EU Rules are wrtiten as they are and that is why all this hulabalou is just that. Hot air to make it look like they care.
    The regulations should read something like the following if they really meant to protect their public from the health issues they pretend to concern themselves with.
    ‘All horses going to slaughter for human consumption must be accompanied with verifiable veternarian papers discribing all shots, pain medications and wormers given to that horse during its lifetime.
    Any horse bought from auctions or privately owned that are not accomplanied with these records will not be eligable for slaughter.
    My vet and all vets do not want to be liable for fraudulant paper work so they keep records to save their own skins.

  10. haha, yours arent near as naughty as mine. Carly was trying to get the attention of my son, who was just outside the camera view helping me with the lighting. She is very persistent when she wants attention, I didnt even have a clue that she was doing that lol. Didnt feel like doing the video over either, … o well, next time…
