For beasts that might seem far apart in the animal kingdom, these wild baboons and working horses sure get along.
Quirky footage captured in the fields next to Monkeyland and Birds of Eden wildlife sanctuaries in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, shows the unlikely friends gathering at a compost heap. A baboon grooms a horse named Jericho before climbing on his back, and according to the Barcroft TV video description, some baboons were also seen doing somersaults off the horse.
We’re sure they all had a big laugh about it later.

Really amazing! But then, animals seem to co-exist so much better than humans, don’t they?

Different species of families, co-existing with each other. Many humans could learn a “thing or two,” from these creatures. Thanks for sharing with us

How cool is that!!!! I agree, humans could take a lesson from some of our wild cousins. I love the grooming. If you notice the baboon is grooming the horse in an area that is hard for the horse to reach. I think the rest of the horses and the other baboons will accept each other once the horses enjoy the grooming. I’m sure they pick the insects off of Jerico which makes him feel better too. Thank you for bringing this to us. Its great and children could learn a valuable lesson from this pair. Thank you again for all that you do. May the Force of the Horse be with all of you as we move into the New Year and may God be with our wonderful equine friends. Happy New Year 2015!!!!

This only shows that animals of different species can interact and enjoy each others companionship. It’s just too bad that humans can’t do the same and leave the other species alone, not kill them and find excuses to get rid of them. Shame on the humans. We are supposed to be of superior mind. Ha! Ha!.
