HOUSTON , (Horseback) – The federal Bureau of Land Management acknowledged today that it charges private ranchers nothing for wild horse removal from their property – horses that are removed by the thousands at taxpayer expense.
CHICAGO, (EWA), – Supporters of a request for a Presidential moratorium on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) round ups of wild horses on federal lands rallied at the base of Boston’s State House on Friday, January 8. The demonstration was one of a growing number of spontaneous rallies from coast to coast.
Habitat for Horses and authorities in Fannin County have discovered dozens of dead donkeys and horses, on a property in Leonard, about 60 miles northeast of Dallas, near the Oklahoma border.
