Alleged Horse Trainer BBQs Horses for Clients

Sadly, if you have been unfortunate enough to be around the issue of predatory horse slaughter, for any length of time, you have had no choice but to run into the name of bloody, pro-slaughter extremest Dave Duquette the witless sidekick of equine terrorist Wyoming State Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis. With Wallis leading the way down a path of blind lies, self-serving statements and threats against the horses of the United States Dave “Doink” Duquette has been right behind her picking up on scraps and never coming forth with an original thought, the veritable “lap dog” of all that is sick and perverse with American society today. Allegedly a horse trainer, Doink would brag and extol upon the pleasures of brutally killing and eating the very companion animals that he is said to earn his income through breeding and training. If you ever wanted a nasty email, sprinkled with expletives and uneducated rants, simply write to ole Doink and your wish would be granted but then…he disappeared.

Rhapsody Lost in Cesspool of Bloody Horse Slaughter

Memories and photographs are all that remain of Rhapsody Rhose.

Jaime Cowan, who rode the purebred Arabian since childhood, clings to these as if grieving the death of a family member.

Rhapsody’s demise is layered with betrayal by a friend and indifference by others. It also is an economic treatise shaped by America’s prevalent view of equines as companion animals, the overseas desire for horse meat and the buyers, packers and shippers seizing opportunity.

There has been a nagging thought, just outside of my reach, that’s been chewing on me for the past decade or so. Something that never comes up and bites me in the butt but rather circles about and lightly taps me on the shoulder now and then in an effort to confuse and distract me at the most inopportune times.

Horse Slaughter Double Decker Trailer Ban Starts Today

Today, October 7, 2011 the new rule affecting double decker transport of horses becomes effective. The Humane Society of the United States wants to be in a position to monitor compliance/violations while urging the USDA to enforce the new regulations. We are in the process of developing a monitoring plan and would like your assistance. We are aware that many rescues attend auctions on a regular basis and are often in a position to observe violations of the humane transport of equines. Equine Terrorists Fabricate Untruths to Promote Eating Horses

Chicago (EWA) – In a press release today titled “Equine Scientists Debunk Horsemeat Health Risk Claims”, United Horsemen (UH), an extremist pro horse slaughter group, cited a letter from four equine instructors ostensibly written to the Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology complaining about the accuracy of the landmark study that found that the meat derived from horses administered the carcinogen phenylbutazone (PBZ/bute) is being shipped to the European Union for human consumption.
