Wallis’ Wyoming Horse Slaughter Plant Plans Turn Flaky

Chicago (EWA) – In an interview on January 1st with the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, horse slaughter promoter Sue Wallis announced yet another change in plans for her proposed Wyoming horse slaughter plant. The plant will not use facilities in Cheyenne. It also won’t sell horsemeat for human consumption, it won’t be designed by Temple Grandin and won’t open this year as previously announced.

HOUSTON, (SFTHH) – In a recent Horseback Magazine interview Wyoming Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis, who is an avid supporter of banned horse slaughter, lost an enormous chunk of credibility when she publicly announced that she knows nothing of EU regulations regarding non-food animal drugs in U.S. Equines. With a pedal to the metal the promoter of a convention of slaughter proponents disregarded the scientific fact that U.S. horses are no longer accepted as meat for human consumption in Europe yet Wallis thinks it would be just fine to feed the tainted meat to her constituents in the state of Wyoming, as it is illegal to transport the meat across state lines.

Wyoming Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis building a Horse Slaughter Plant?

CHEYENNE — A Wyoming state representative from Recluse is interested in opening a horse slaughtering facility in Laramie County, according to the director of the Wyoming Livestock Board.

Earlier this year, Rep. Sue Wallis, R-Recluse, was one of several legislators to sponsor a bill that allows the “disposal of” stray animals, as opposed to their sale.
