  1. You can bet I’ll be making an angry phone call and sending an angry letter to back it up. How dare the SOB’s discount the lives of the great thunderbeings!!! How dare they toss them aside and do not admit their complicity in their murder. PR or no PR firm this is jacked up.

  2. Only BLM employees killed out of their trucks will be counted in official tallies-those killed in a bar, donut shop or whorehouse will be counted as zero.grand total 0/0 since they never get out of their trucks except to go into the aforementioned places

  3. They are really touchy about Calico aren’t they? Don’t want anyone to know how many died. And really, I want to know how many really died. And Black Mountain…what kind of math is BLM using? Started with 175, took out 80 and now after the roundup they say there is 635? No wonder they do not know how many horses there really are.

      • I would love to know those actual numbers. They must have slammed those choppers into high gear to do it while the public was banned from oversight. The real numbers are out there.
What happened to justice for America’s Mustangs? What happened to justice for the American people who they belong to? This is clearly a case of “as usual, everyone is served but justice!”

      • Yes, they were killing fields, I can only imagine the hardest hit were the foals..I will not let this rest, nor am I content to wait for their internal investigation…I have already heard the most pathetic excuses that cannot be justified by any evidence, and it is still flowing out of that department..I can only hope there is someone that is willing to step up and tell the truth..BLM spent considerable time in their internal documents -“alternative management options” figuring out how to kill the horses as a management tool, and how to present that to the public…expect this to be a reoccuring theme.

      • I just have to share this, the last excuse I heard a couple of days ago…The wild horse and burro person in charge of the Tuscarora, is only part time, and he was so “overwhelmed dealing with advocates calls-that he had been unable to check on the water sources on the Owyhee”…Seriously-they are so desperate to pin the tail on any donkey, and refuse to accept responsability for animals under their care…would be comparable to me blaming the mail delivery man for causing me not to feed my horses and letting them starve.

      • You know I am with you Sandra. The WH&B specialist was not answering his phone nor was Heather Emmons for a week before this began. Only the district manager talked to me at all along with the ‘front desk’.

Many horses were lost from the first 24 hours and by the end of the week the deaths were well over 100. This is the worst roundup disaster that I know of. Look at how they have locked it all down, changed reports and denied any wrong doing. There were indeed phone calls flying and people making accusations while a cover up was in play. We need to break this wide open.

Stop BLM and their death contractors from ever handling our horses again. Demand an investigation and find our missing mustangs. mar

  4. I emailed on their site the following:

After all the press reported horse deaths in the Calico roundup, your stats show no animals died. What is the truth here?

  6. 100 years ago horse thieves and rustlers were hung or simply shot. Now they’re subsidized by taxpayers. Very wrong. And very sick.

  7. Black Mountain is Burros I believe and the population is about right. This was scheduled in March and we thought it was postponed. It seems they had a
STealth Roundup in February. They take out about 100 burros every year here. I think it is a popular and stable population. But they sure did not want us there. In fact all the burro roundups went off schedule or were postponed because several advocates were planning to be there. I talked to people there and they innocently said they would be gathering in the Fall.

Also Murders Creek, FS, OR. has been scheduled for Sept and for July but it seems they had a removal already, also. Another Stealth roundup??? What do we know when they change dates several times and have begun to change names mid stream? This is the kind of avoidance of observation they are going to all links to accomplish. Thanks to Laura we may have placed our 1st Amendment rights back out in play. Unless the enemy decides to do more extreme maneuvers to escape our watchful eyes. This I bet on. mar

  8. I just wrote to the “Contact Us” website form. After I clicked “Send to BLM” the page “404 Not Found” came up.

You can believe that. I can’t say it better.

Get everyone you know to call their House Reps. to sign Rahall and Grijalva’s letter.

  9. Sounds like the DOI has taken the same management and cost efficiency courses as the idiots at Arlington National Cemetery.

What the hell is wrong with people now days?!!! They can’t find the deceased and they spent about 7-10 million on a computer system that they can’t find either…where in the hell are these stoopid morons coming from?! The government is overflowing with incompetents that cost us a fortune.

  10. Reminds me of the system employed by Anderson the accounting firm employed by Enron…shuffling horse numbers around, deleting, dumming up reports. The blatant disregard for the truth, the facts. The constant coverup will no longer be tolerated in government by the american people.

  11. Why couldn’t a person go out looking for buzzards the day after a roundup?

Don’t the buzzards circle in the sky over the remains.

Should they be so hard to find?

Stallion 1362 broke his leg during sorting and was euthanized. Mares are still foaling, but births are fewer and intermittent. No miscarriages occurred.
