Wild Horses and Tax Payers Stampede into DC

Update from R.T. Fitch

Small Pose Represents Huge Citizen/Voter Block

Terry printing out thousands of advocate letters

Today is the day that we ride (fly) into D.C. to hand deliver all of your letters and postcards demanding that the President order a STOP to the unnecessary wild horse and burro roundups that are decimating that last, few herds left on their rightful public lands.

Terry, Jerry Finch and myself will be on our way by the time you read this and we feel the weight of your frustration, anger and outrage on our shoulders.

We will be in the air for eight hours, today, so there will not be much in the way of updates unless I can pull off something cleaver with the ole iPad or iPhone while in the taxi in D.C. so don’t think for a second that we have forgotten about you.

Remember that while we are in the air Ginger Kathrens has tasked you all with calling the White House and prepping the Prez for the letters that Congressman Jim Moran is about to deliver to him…please let him know that we are on our way.

Thanks for all of the support and unbelievable participation.  What started out with about 1,200 letters quickly blossomed into over 15,000 and each and everyone is as precisous as gold in it’s intent and heartfelt content.

We ride for all of you today as we ARE you…average American citizens who want to see our government do the right things instead of caving to special interests and stupidity.

Keep the faith, we are the strongest when united.

R.T.

  2. And don’t forget to tell them that we are onto their dirty games – including their bait/water trapping that they have contracted out to Cattoor and his buddies … to the tune of stealing a MINIMUM of 8,900 of our wild horses and burros from their legal land between now (actually 7/1/12) and next June without any accountability … in other words behind our backs. What a shell game they play … now you see your wild horses and burros … NOW YOU DON’T.
    Fly safely good friends.

  6. Will be making my call to the White House just as soon as I down this cup of coffee (late day, I have the day off with pay woo-hoo). God speed with you. Perhaps Congressman Moran or someone could ask the President why he has never responded to what surely must be hundreds of thousands of contacts since his presidency began. I mean throw a dog a bone for cryin out loud. It would be nice to know we are heard and on his radar. I was no fan of Bush but I got a plaque from him and Laura Bush honoring some advocacy I did. And response to inquiries.
Eagerly awaiting news and pictures of this great day. In the meantime, I’ll make many calls.
