I can not believe that the military would have HORSE MEAT in their MREs, If it was not for the horse, everyone in the Military would be on foot. The Horses were their to help with the hunting, plowing the fields, pulling the cannons, caring the soldiers into battle or off the fields of war with wagons ! Anyone that would want to eat horses when there or other animals that we breed for food, are sick and need to be sent away from this Country !

I have been signing petitions against horse slaughter because I love these animals but also because they help my low functioning Autistic son! Thank you for all you do to help protect them! I have been staying away from beef but do I have to worry about ground turkey?

Please, folks – this is satire! Read the article (and other articles on the Duffle) before you start yelling and screaming – this isn’t good for ANY of us working for the horses. And please stop sharing it on FB, etc because too many people will just jump and comment, missing the fact that it is pulling our leg.

I’m a bit behind the email times since I’m just getting to this article. I can only thank God this article was not true !!!!!!!!! I was in the military, eat PLENTY MREs and I almost panicked, even though I didn’t back then and don’t now eat any kind of flesh. I’s a relief !!!!
