Straight from the Horse's Heart 
Its always amazing to me, and yet shouldn’t be I suppose, that animals of completely different species, both wild and domestic not only are able to communicate perfectly with each other but also sacrifice themselves from one degree to another to benefit other the animal species. I have read fantastic stories, which both touch my heart, but also reinforce the fact that nature is speaking and teaching. We as humans just have to learn to listen.

Animals are such amazing beings. My entire world revolves around animals. I have spent my life loving & caring for them. Both wild & domestic. They all have such unique personalities & it never fails to leave me in awe watching & learning about them. As a vet tech with 25 yrs experience I’ve had the privilege to not only work with our beloved domestic animals, but also with zoo animals. But I really found my passion when I got into wildlife rehabilitation. Animals bring me great joy. I am not surprised how easily Barkley interacts with all other animals. Animals feel his love. If only people could be as loving and unjudgmental as animals. The world would be a happy place.
