Straight from the Horse's Heart 
Wrote & sang really great songs AND put his “money where his mouth was”. He will be missed. Maybe this will bring some attention to the disease – stomach cancer – make people more aware of symptoms EARLY. Dont know if that was an issue with him, but I’m sure it is with many.
His songs will keep him in our memory.

Colbert had a really beautiful segment on his show last night about his friend, Toby Keith. Certainly surprising because of the likely many different views they held – but worth watching – it was really nice.

I always enjoyed listening to his music. It is just ashamed that he gets more notoriety after his gone. We need more men (people like hem). God Bless..
