Okay fellow equine advocates; it’s Sunday afternoon so lets have a little fun.

Terry and I were just out working in the yard when we decided to let our raucous herd of geldings out to join us and to chomp down on the yard grass as the mowers will be here, tomorrow. Well, true to form, one thing led to another and we had a rather interesting rodeo event occur which led to two of the bad boys, above, being banished back out to the pastures. Can you guess what they are saying, can you write (in a comment) what the caption to that photo should be?

So for this “feel good Sunday” we share with you a story about a California couple that struggles to do their level best for the animals that they have rescued and share their home. They are special people when it comes to their care and concern; their story hits home as Terry and I experienced the same struggle and emotions as we fought to save one of our canine children just one year ago this time. Likewise, this story touches us deeply as it is about our animal law attorney for Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Bruce Wagman and his lovely bride Deborah. “Exactly seven years ago this day, I penned these jumbled sentences, below, in an effort to make sense of the feelings that both Terry, myself and our horses felt as Hurricane Katrina was bearing down upon our small Louisiana farm. Today Terry and the herd are safe in Texas and it appears out of harms way, but the same is not true for our friends along the northern gulf coast of the mighty USA. So from half way around the world I extend a virtual hand to those who are sharing the same feelings and asking the exact same questions we struggled with over a half a decade ago; truly, may the ‘Force of the Horse®’ be with you” ~ R.T.

Invisible Horse Dance Craze,Giddyup, has gone Viral

Meet Psy. He’s a Korean pop star, and his music video “Gangnam Style” will do more to popularize equestrian sports than Rafalca ever could.

Since the video was posted on YouTube on July 15, it’s received nearly 50 million views and counting. It’s at the top of the K-Pop Hot 100 chart, and crossed the ocean to American iTunes charts, where it currently resides at number 65. The lyrics refer to a posh, Beverly Hills-like area of Seoul, so “Gangnam Style” alludes to ostentatious wealth and a sort of #YOLO, devil-may-care attitude.
