We have all shot ourselves in the foot, but seldom does an entire organization take up automatic weapons and form itself into a firing squad for that purpose. Such is the case with the organizers and sponsors of the upcoming Summit of the Horse to be held the first week of January in Las Vegas.
HOUSTON, (Horseback) – A group of livestock breeders and breeder wannabes who would build a legal abattoir in Wyoming for horses will face stringent guidelines for their proposed facility set by one of their speakers, the famed animal behaviorist Dr. Temple Grandin of Colorado State University. She outlined her speech to the group in an exclusive interview with Horseback Online.
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there lived an evil Princess whose name was Sue. The evil Princess had it in her mind that all Unicorns were bad and that she and her followers should kill all of them. No one knew where this idea had come from, but Princess Sue was very persistent when it came to her hatred of the magical Unicorns.
CHICAGO – Wyoming resident, Patricia Fazio, Ph.D. has filed a complaint with state officials, requesting an investigation of alleged violations of ethics laws and securities fraud by Wyoming State Rep. Sue Wallis (R-Campbell). Animal Law Coalition (ALC), Equine Welfare Alliance (EWA) and Habitat for Horses Advisory Council (HfHAC) applaud Dr. Fazio and join in the call for authorities to investigate Wallis’ activities.
HOUSTON, (SFTHH) – In a recent Horseback Magazine interview Wyoming Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis, who is an avid supporter of banned horse slaughter, lost an enormous chunk of credibility when she publicly announced that she knows nothing of EU regulations regarding non-food animal drugs in U.S. Equines. With a pedal to the metal the promoter of a convention of slaughter proponents disregarded the scientific fact that U.S. horses are no longer accepted as meat for human consumption in Europe yet Wallis thinks it would be just fine to feed the tainted meat to her constituents in the state of Wyoming, as it is illegal to transport the meat across state lines.
(The News as We See It) by R.T. Fitch ~ Author/Director of HfH Advisory Council Horse Rescues Solicited for Horse Meat, Hide, Hair, You Name It!! The unethical and renegade Wyoming State Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis and her profanity spewing handyman Dave “Doink” Duquette have now crossed the […]
I am normally the most in favor of talking as respectful adults to one another, but as you have stooped to such petty levels, I cannot help but indulge for just a moment and write you a letter in your kind of sarcastic language.
Equine advocates beware, “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis and her ever present sidekick and main squeeze, Dave Douquette, are trolling the internet looking for information to twist, distort and turn upside down in an effort to legitimize their unfounded and bogus position that anyone who does not want to eat a horse is some form of a terrorist.
I wanted to personally let you know how much we all appreciate your willingness to join us in Las Vegas for the Summit of the Horse. Your agency’s work is so important to the overall picture. We look forward to hearing about your efforts to create realistic and sustainable solutions to the problems surrounding the management of wild horses on federal lands.
When obvious truth is being ignored, it is frequently referred to as the elephant in the room. As the slaughter issue reaches the boiling point, as expected, the elephants in the room are waiting to be recognized. The upcoming “Summit of the Horse” is an exemplary example of elephants in the room. A group of people are assembling to “take the reins back” and provide solutions. That is truly mission impossible because they would have to acknowledge that they are the cause.
