In April of 2010, acting Inspector General of the Department of the Interior (DOI) Mary Kendall issued a letter to Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar summarizing the findings of an evaluation report entitled “Interior Lacks a Scientific Integrity Policy” (Report No. WR-EV-MOA-0014-2009). The report outlines the objective of determining whether “… codes of conduct [for scientific research and publication] exist and in what form.”
Investigative journalist/author/editor/publisher Steven Long of Houston, Texas has uncovered yet another glaring, corrupt distortion of truth and regulation by controversial Secretary of the Department of Interior (DoI) Ken Salazar’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Within a recent article in Horseback Magazine Long exposes the fact that the BLM’s secret “No Fly Zones” over their aerial attacks on native wild horses is a figment of their own imagination, proving that America has been duped for years by the malevolent federal agency.

Besides conducting their murderous and heinous crimes on private property, so that the press and taxpaying public cannot observe, they turned off virtually every form of electronic communication. It all fit the pattern of cloak and dagger, dark and dirty acts needing to be concealed and of course; they are not only above the law but well beyond being burdened with any fair and honest public opinion. So it came as no surprise to me that their paranoia continued to grow.

In a recent ad in the Washington, D.C., newspaper, The Hill, AWI called on Congress to take swift and decisive action to prevent the BLM from “managing” our nation’s wild horses into extinction.
Wild horses and burros are being systematically destroyed in the USA by the government agency, Bureau of Land Management, (BLM) and the powers that be and the public at large are turning a blind eye. Despite the fervent and passionate work of thousands of committed animal rights activists, the mainstream media remains on the sidelines, mute.
