Bad Things Come in Threes
Some say that bad things come in threes and if that is the case the horses are suffering the curse in spades this dark Tuesday, July 10th, 2012.
- The BLM will began covertly, and behind closed doors, capturing wild horses from the unique West Douglas herd under the guise that it is an emergency gather even with concrete advocate supplied evidence to the contrary.
- In Texas a state hearing will be conducted to discuss the possibility of allowing foreign owned and tax subsided horse slaughter plants to once again open in that great state.
- Cloud’s herd goes under attack in the Pryor Mountains as the BLM, once again, fiddles around with nature and all but ensures genetic unviability by trapping and removing the young ones from this historic and proud herd.
It appears that the bad, evil and vile guys are having their day but in reality they are only stoking the fire of an enlightened public that has had enough of the cruelty, abuse and flagrant lies.
Obviously both Federal and State governments no longer feel it necessary to listen to the will of the people and instead bend only to lobbyist, special interest groups and of course their drug of choice, money.
The ice beneath their feet grows thinner by the second.
We the people will not falter in the commitment to see through what is right and just. We collectively are aware that looming just over the horizon is an election day and we have been taking notes, keeping score and snapping pictures.
A new day is perhaps in grasp so don’t falter America; attend the hearings, gather at the rallies, continue making your calls and faxes while supporting the legitimate non-profits that speak for your heart and answer to your calling.
Like the horses for which we advocate; we have very long memories and will not forget.
Wednesday will be a new day.

Pray the people open their eyes! and ceases the torment of American horses!~ considering God Almighty has smote the land with terrible fires in the very states our mustangs are being tormented!! the very day after i sent a message similar to this, a 70-acre fire blazed under a mile from my home. the writing is on the wall~our Lord has spoken! take warning those who destroy the animals He created~that He breathed life into!~ “The righteous man cares for the needs of his animal” and ”Your destruction of animals will terrify you
…blm doesn’t seem to be worried about the law or the public outcry. they better not look surprised when the Lord smites their land!!

We need a miracle, and I’d like God to strike the Courthouse or whatever place the meeting Tuesday will be. My daughter and I are going to be there. .Seeing as how there is a particular topic for this meeting, “opening a slaughter house in our great state”, I guess we will have a better opportunity to get our opinions heard. Not like the meeting they had where at the END Marjorie got to say a FEW wwords And the guys had clay in their ears.

That’s my question, What MORE can we do? Obviously we aren’t doing enough and the BLM is not afraid of us. We need to change that. But we need some direction so we all go in the right direction at the same time to make our power be felt. I’m ready!

Dear Lynette, this has been the question for years, I keep saying the BLM has an achilles heal and we must find yesterday !!!!! Nothing to date has been successful, the Mustangs are still needlessly rounded up inhumanely and unnecessary………….. I tend to think these people are on an evil mission, look we need to stop them asap, somebody here has great Ideas , The Mustangs need them and need them now !!!! I have been tired of pussy footing around,,,,,,,,,,, All so far has proven to be futile……………. ……………………………………. The Mustangs need concentrated united action…………………… We have right here people that can move mountains , lets do it, TIME is Wasting for the Mustangs…………… !!!!! Im sick of having to witness this Disgusting murdering mismanagement , by an Agency gone mad !!!!

Today in Sacramento Terri Farley told us that if you go read from the source (I would guess that means not copy and paste) articles that deal with wild horses–each time we click on a story it dings back to editors.
We want the press there. If they print BLM press–we have to leave factual comments if we’re allowed.

Assaulted from all sides, our wild and domestic horses who have good people working on their behalf may yet see more ruinous days, months and years at the hands of the Corporate Government that has arrogantly placed itself above hearing the people of a once free Republic! We must take back out government and make changes in the agencies that are run by special interest appointees like Salazar.
Our wild horses suffer a horrendous miscarriage of justice which has made their days in freedom and in form numbered. Federal law is not only perverted by amendments that run counter to this law but BLM/DOI simply make whatever decision brings them the results they want. This is not management in any way shape or form and it has nothing to do with the Free Roaming Wild horse and Burro Act of 1971.
BLM and DOI are selling off our public lands and leasing them for next to no costs for irresponsible acts of irreversible pollution! Grazing will continue in the same destructive manner it always has because the public has no say about public lands! The people are wondering when their world will collapse as they see the wild lands under attack and the oceans defiled.
There was a time when an individual voice, unattached to any group but from East of the Mississippi, could raise an opinion and be heard and have that opinion considered in the decision making process about public lands and wildlife. This is no longer possible. Losing that has put this nation’s lands, resources and our health at great risk. Without the insights of science and respect for history we are being led by intimidation and fear and greed.
We must save the Pryor offspring and knowingly adopt them all into safety. The West Douglas herd has been in rains for a couple days and since there was inadequate proof from BLM there was ever a threat to them, they must be allowed to stay on their home range. Slaughter in Texas after all that we have learned from its’ practice and dissolution is another careless wish by the the few who are willing to practice, in ignorance, bringing death through pain and torture to a beautiful and intelligent animal.

But the good news is that we have a big rally in Sacramento tomorrow, followed up with a hearing–BLM. We have a number of hard hitters coming to speak.
It’ll be nice to see familiar faces again and meet others.
I think we know how the BLM meeting will go…but still listening to others will personally be a treat.

Sickening about the BLM…they are running around with no restraints,they need to be dismantled badly. Of course, the state of Texas legislature is not known for their compassion or intellect,so Tuesday is dark indeed, but these entities will be watched and the fight needs to continue,no letting up! The horses have no voice except through the hearts and minds of the people.

The Government’s BLM so powerful with their backers and money seems like they are unstopable at this point. It scares me to know what they can do. The BLM can really screw things up and then it will take years or maybe never to make it right again for the Wild horses and Burros. The herds will be extinct and no more, thanks to the greedy BLM.

Perhaps, massive protests everywhere, & I do mean on a large scale!! Like let’s get the American people riled up, pissed off, & not gonna take it anymore mad!! Announce these protests so that as many people that can, can be there to protest, wherever they happen to be. Not all can be at these protests (depends on where & timing), but we can sure make a profound statement! Back in Wild Horse Annie’s day, didn’t the public protest & make loud outcrys, didn’t America’s school children join the fight to get the governments attention?? What worked in the past, might work now as well, or maybe WE can make ammendments to the original laws enacted to protect these creatures??

I usually don’t condone violence, nor do I usually consider myself to be a radical protester, but, this calls for physical combat! The entire darn government needs to be blown to smitherens!! Maybe that will get their attention? Maybe they’ll actually listen to us, &, more importantly, do what we want!? I know horse advocates are doing things, but is it enough?? We can not continue to sit back & act all civilized & such, that is wasting valuable time, & wasting what’s left of America’s most beautiful, valuable & most iconic symbol, our wild horses (& burros!). How can we truly stop these moronic idiotic fools, before it’s too late!? Please don’t say, “just keep writing, calling, sending emails, signing petitions, etc.”, we have to do more than that!! Dear God, please watch over & protect your wild horses, & all equines, they need Your help & intervention!!

Dear Valerie, I am in agreement with you fully. i feel so bad for the Mustangs, I and I know we have done almost everything we can all for almost no peace for them, I know in my heart the terror they feel all for nothing but the Greed of the BLM…. they say they are untouchable by law ……. I am not saying that I am done , because the Mustangs deserve their freedom ,but I believe that this is a complete sham, should be taken steps further…………………………
