I had the privilege of meeting Ginger Kathrens at BreyerFest last year and even attended one of her seminars there. I’ve got to say that she is probably the most well-spoken and respectful animal advocate I have ever come across. This debate regarding PZP will sure be an interesting one. As a politically inclined individual, I like to read and hear people discuss topics regarding all sorts of issues. 🙂

I will definitely be listening to this show. I, for one, am completely against the use of PZP. Will be interesting to hear a full argument on the other side. Although I really can’t see me changing my mind. Not until the horses truly are over populated instead of just over inconvenient to ranchers and other land users. I don’t see that scenario happening in the coming decades.

We all agree on ONE thing…
We want our Wild Horses and Burros to roam freely on Public Lands, as mandated by the Wild Horse and Burro Act.
We want to know that we can see them there WHENEVER WE WANT….
NOT in prisons and NOT in holding facilities.

Will be listening for sure – and thank you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that a lot of people were unable to hear the first half of the show. I think there might have been technological problems on BLOGTALK radio. the archived show will be up tomorrow. I’ll put a link to the archive here in the comment section. Debbie.

I GREATLY admire and respect BOTH of these HIGHLY INTELLIGENT & DEDICATED wild horse advocate leaders debating PZP, and I also applaud them for their MATURE ability to have a RESPECTFUL DISCUSSION even though they have very different opinions on this extremely heated subject. Listen and hear if you notice any name-calling here and undeserved nasty insults, one to the other? I sure don’t!
Yes they each obviously have an abundance of self-assertion of their own point of view but they do NOT denigrate the other person. Please follow their examples!
We all care about our wild horses passionately and we all deserve respect for that.

Thank you, Annie. The most important thing to remember IS that we ALL care about the wild horses and burros.
