Horse Slaughter has not been banned in the USA instead it has only moved across our borders and both our beloved domestic equines and our protected wild horses and burros continue to end up on the dinner plates of foreigners across the globe.
Below is simply raw video of what the horses go through as they cross the border from Texas to Mexico in the final hours of their precious lives. No commentary, no music, no opinions as the footage speaks for itself. We have simply released it to emphasis the need to act, of things to come and to remind those who participate in this predatory blood business that we are watching and taking names. There is no reason for this being taken place. What is wrong with these people being allowed to do this. Horse are part of American heritage & for them to be slaughtered is insane.

“The Rescuers Prayer”
Unlike most days at Rainbow Bridge, this day dawned cold and gray, damp as a swamp and as dismal as could be imagined. All the recent arrivals were confused and… concerned. They had no idea what to think for they had never experienced a day like this before. But the animals who had spent some time waiting for their beloved people knew exactly what was happening and began to gather at the pathway leading to the Bridge to watch. They knew this was something special. It wasn’t too long before an elderly animal came into view, head hung heavy and low with tail dragging along the ground. The other animals on the pathway…the ones who had been at Rainbow Bridge for a while…knew the story of this sad creature immediately. They had seen it happen far too many times. Although it was obvious the animal’s heart was leaden and he was totally overcome with emotional pain and hurt, there was no sign of injury or any illness. Unlike the pets waiting at the Bridge, this dog had not been restored to his prime. He was full of neither health nor vigor. He approached slowly and painfully, watching all the pets who were by now watching him. He knew he was out of place here. This was no resting place for him. He felt instinctively that the sooner he could cross over, the happier he would be.
But alas, as he came closer to the Bridge, his way was barred by the appearance of an Angel who spoke softly to the old dog and apologized sorrowfully, telling him that he would not be able to pass. Only those animals who were with their special people could pass over the Rainbow Bridge. And he had no special beloved people…not here at the Bridge nor on Earth below. With no place else to turn, the poor elderly dog looked toward the fields before the Bridge. There, in a separate area nearby, he spotted a group of other sad-eyed animals like himself…elderly and infirm. Unlike the pets waiting for their special people, these animals weren’t playing, but simply lying on the green grass, forlornly and miserably staring out at the pathway leading to the Bridge. The recent arrival knew he had no choice but to join them. And so, he took his place among them, just watching the pathway and waiting.
One of the newest arrivals at the Bridge, who was waiting for his special people, could not understand what he had just witnessed and asked one of the pets who had been there for some time to explain it to him. “That poor dog was a rescue, sent to the pound when his owner grew tired of him. The way you see him now, with graying fur and sad, cloudy eyes, was exactly the way he was when he was put into the kennels. He never, ever made it out and passed on only with the love and comfort that the kennel workers could give him as he left his miserable and unloved existence on Earth for good. Because he had no family or special person to give his love, he has nobody to escort him across the Bridge.” The first animal thought about this for a minute and then asked, “So what will happen now?”
As he was about to receive his answer, the clouds suddenly parted and the all-invasive gloom lifted. Coming toward the Bridge could be seen a single figure…a person who, on Earth, had seemed quite ordinary…a person who, just like the elderly dog, had just left Earth forever. This figure turned toward a group of the sad animals and extended outstretched palms. The sweetest sounds they had ever heard echoed gently above them and all were bathed in a pure and golden light. Instantly, each was young and healthy again, just as they had been in the prime of life. From within the gathering of pets waiting for their special people, a group of animals emerged and moved toward the pathway. As they came close to the passing figure, each bowed low and each received a tender pat on the head or a scratch behind the ears. Their eyes grew even brighter as the figure softly murmured each name. Then, the newly-restored pets fell into line behind the figure and quietly followed this person to the Bridge, where they all crossed together.
The recent arrival who had been watching, was amazed. “What happened?” “That was a rescuer,” came the answer. “That person spent a lifetime trying to help pets of all kinds. The ones you saw bowing in respect were those who found new homes because of such unselfish work. They will cross when their families arrive. Those you saw restored were ones who never found homes. When a rescuer arrives, they are permitted to perform one, final act of rescue. They are allowed to escort those poor pets that couldn’t find a place on Earth across the Rainbow Bridge. You see, all animals are special to them…just as they are special to all animals.” “I think I like rescuers,” said the recent arrival. “So does God,” was the reply.–

Thank you, this is so beautiful, a story about the reward for the “forgotten ones”. There are so many here, waiting for someone just to keep them warm, safe, fed, and loved. How can we make things better on this earth?This is my prayer every day for all the precious lives across our world, please, God, help them all!

Horse slaughter is performed in the most hideous manner. Often the horses are not stunned sufficiently before they are hung upside down and their throats slit so they will bleed out. Horses are not meant to be food. They are pets, not livestock. Further, horsemeat is tainted with the many drugs given to horses for pain, worming and illness. These drugs are toxic to humans. I urge the GAO to ban the slaughter of horses and shipments to other countries. Hirsemeat is not safe to eat and the process is beyond inhumane.

Oh my God almighty. We must stop this cruelty. Our beautiful horses all kinds are just not to go this way of slaughter. Damn our society for allowing this horrible fate to them . They do not deserve this horror beyond words. I am sick, so sick of this. We have to stop this somehow. We just have to save them. So inhumane.

I have a valid suggestion for an Investigative series that needs completed and sent to Congress. The proslaughter crowd shows pics of Starved dying wild horses everywhere. What needs done is a series of pics that show these horses on their way to holding are NOT skeletal. In fact holding doesnt have a bunch of underweight horses either. We need a pictorial of the locations of wild horses. Now i have a RELIABLE SOURCE who says the proslaughter fellas penned up some wild horses withheld food and water until they were skinny then photographed them for online bashing. Given the source theres reason to believe we need to fight back by showing the horses are healthy. Now theres gonna be some horses needing help anywhere no question but their claim is All wild horses are lacking food and water and a handful of pics does the job of scaring people. Please do an eyeopener series and forward to Congress because if I was out there I would be assembling a massive video and pictorual library of wild horses over the past ten years to show their health, condition and prove proslaughter doesnt have everything right. Next, these nuts are digging up wild stories of unwanted horsez from the past to get people afraid again, please make sure were reminding people the entire horse population has dropped since slaughter is still open, horses naturally have been euthanized by vets and horses died natural and unnatural deaths and have reduced the number of bred horses to reduce population resulting in less horses in the USA. The numbers fall from 2012 stats that there were 7 million, theres less than 6 million horses. This is actually reflected by the amount of feed products sold annually and consumed as well as general state estimates of horse pops since 2012. May I also remind you the nuts that claim to know the number pf USA horses are also proslaughter and we all know their numbers are extremly exagerrated. The fact we have less than 6 million horses means we dont need slaughter plants we just need to find better ways to handle advertising horses for homes. The other issue I see is the GAO report is going to claim the Rescues are Still Overrun with Unwanted Horses. The Report does NOT REFLECT the change over in adoptions completed, the numbers of horses saved from slaughter that were NPT impounds but purchased to adopt out. In other words they use the full house stats to imply these horses are Unwanted but dont explain the reason they currently are maxed. The fact a rescue buys slaughter horses doesntatter except these are NOT actial numbers of UNWANTED animals at all. In fact impounded animals are Usually wanted and people get angry because they were impounded for neglect or abuse. Those are NOT unwanted, those are abuse cases and neglect cases. If were going to battle their lies we need to battle from the moment the report is ready to go. The fact is just bevause a horse is up for sale its NOTS UNWANTED….in fact that theory blows the he!! Out of the argument a breeder is making his living or a trainer is making a living….because we all know you breed and train to sell for a profit not because you just sply dont Want that one. The proslaughter folks have lied so much they actually undermine the argument of keeping horse industry jobs. They talk constantly of culled horses being unwanted. So we need to prepare to fight the culling wording. Culls are actually the horses you sell to keep your best stock to continue breeding better horses…so they are saying culls are Only unwanted. Some culls have won Championships and kept the Industry afloat by being sold to people who will train love and use them. And keep in mind these people also figet with numbers of horses that are trained or unruly. The fact is just because a horse is untrained doesnt make it crazy. In fact, its the opposite. Just because proslaughter cannot train doesnt mean no one else can. We need to dispell that myth also. Lastly. Horses are Most valuable when sold as pets or Livestock so that people can USE them for anything. But when proslaughter says livestock only they SEVERELY limit our Industry. Wild horses and Domestic Horses make up the Industry. AQHA alwayz tried to eliminate wild horses by stating with lowend horses like Mustangs on the market its hard to sell high quarters. Thats simply never been true. In fact l, that was their other claim for slaughter eliminate the cheap prices. Slaughter doesnt buy high priced horses it buys cheap ones….we had to OVERPRICE HORSES OUT of slaughters grasp. That wasnt slaughter pricing them that was intelligent people staying anove slaughterhouse price per ppound. Sorry for length, but we need this data and argumemts prepared. BEFORE THE GAO IS RELEASED.

Poor defenseless animals are being carded off as if they mean nothing. These are rothless people the government are just as bad how do they have the right ( I know it’s the political party) to take these defenseless animals so they can make more room for the ranchers. I love my beef an even they are miss treated. NO compassion I’m this treatment all about MONEY sick sick sick 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I pray that all gods creatures be saved an all these sorry $&@# of humans will have karma when it time. I do believe. But really how long have so many sanctuaries and rescue missions have been trying so hard to help An our government an money hungry jerks get away with it. I may not make since but I am so hurt and Disgusted with this .
