The horse-eating “Doinkster”
Dave “Doink” Duquette: “Let’s start some horse slaughter plants, yum yum.
First, we know there is no market for it in the U.S..
Secondly, U.S. horsemeat is toxic and will be effectively banned in the EU.
Thirdly, over 80% of the American public is against us…but what the (deleted expletives), let’s just slaughter ourselves a bunch of horses anyway, just for the fun of it. Facts have never stopped us before.
But we need a location, let’s go out to Missouri and poke around and falsely proclaim that everyone in the area will love it and we will be slaughtering horses by the end of summer, yup, we can do that…well, that didn’t work too good.
Hey, I got an idea, how about I con a sleazy, shyster into buying land right in my own hometown and kill healthy horses right HERE. We will blow off the horse hugging butt heads by saying we will have a horse rescue right next to the bloody slaughter plant, that’s pretty cool. That will give us something to brag about.
What? There’s a problem with that, too? Let me see that newspaper article.”
East Oregonian: A report by Hermiston’s city land-use attorney indicates the proposed horse slaughter plant location does not have a water right and is not allowed under the area’s current zoning rules.
The research by Mike Robinson of Perkins Coie in Portland cost the city of Hermiston about $1,000, said City Manager Ed Brookshier. The land in question includes four parcels totalling 234 acres near the intersection of Interstate 84 and Westland Road.“

There may be “no market” for horse”meat” in the United States, or is there? There are always going to be sick, demented, brainless idiots out there, willing to try or experiment with something “new”. As in, I’m guessing by now, you all have heard about some stupid restaurant in New York planning on putting “imported from Canada” horsemeat on their menu! Stupid is as stupid does! How can anyone even think about that, especially since those horses were probably “imported” from the US in the first place, & we all know the inherent risks of that! This is even bigger than the horror & cruelty horses go through at slaughterhouses, those people are intentionally buying & selling highly toxic, drug contaminated, carcinogenic “meat” to unsuspecting, or just plain stupid, customers!! Shouldn’t there be legal implications, shouldn’t this entire thing/issue, be illegal !!??

I’d say it’s about time those two start looking for another profession, hopefully one not involving animals. In regard to Valerie’s comment, above, she raises a good question. Neither Dave or Sue either one can speak legibly….could it be BECAUSE of having both feet in their mouths????
Their attempts at opening a horse slaughter plant has happened all over the U.S. They were greeted with road blocks and stopped each time, and then had the gall to walk away disgusted??? Since when did it become legal for any person or ‘entity’ to harass individual states or cities? Because that’s all this is….harassment, and a way to get people upset!!
They’ve been given the answer ‘NO’, time and time again, but continue on with their behavior.
And, what the hell is that on the end of DD’s chin??????????? Is that his ‘mask’ growing in?

Don’t eat our horses. Thank you Hermiston for not allowing the slaughter house. I could not eat your watermelons without the thought of horse blood. I love horses and cannot bear the thought of eating them. Keep up the good work.
