Infamous Horse Eater Puts Foot in Mouth on National TV

OpEd by R.T. Fitch

Aging Fringe Equine Terrorist Dave “Doink” Duquette Leaves No Doubt That He Is A “FAIL” and a Racist!!!

A couple of points, here;

  • This is still a blog that I created and, somewhat, oversee so I can and will say whatever I damn well please, here, and I will endeavor to keep it from being politically correct, simply because it gives me great joy to expose the corrupt and unholy.
  • I sincerely dislike giving Doink Duquette any additional press, even bad press, but newcomers to the horse slaughter issue could use a brief history lesson.

=”https://rtfitch.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/duquetteandwallis.jpg”> Dave Duquette and “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis at their failed Horse Slaughterfest[/capti

If you have been a pro-equine advocate for any length of time you probably have heard the names of low-life, scumbags like “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis and Dave “Doink” Duquette, individuals who dedicated their lives to promoting the butchering and eating of their friends (?) and companions, horses.

Well most of these idiots from the 2008 era are now dead and long gone with the exception of ole loser Doink Duquette and Ryan “Dinky” Zinke.  Our discussion, today, does not center on Stinky Dinky but instead the failed Doink who lost all of his buddies to the grim reaper and even his own family abandoned him and rightfully so.

Doink, like Dinky, are powered by one thing; ego and in an effort to feed the monster that attempts to cloak the fact that they are both uneducated idiots they lie, deceive, duck, dodge and deflect.

Thi

This point was clear to me when Doink began to throw threats in our direction back in 2008 and never had the fortitude or kahungas to produce on any singular promise/threat.  (every town has a village idiot and Herminston, OR has Doink)  Yet he plodded along as a failed ‘expert’ on killing horses for food without producing any facts, figures or science to support his supposition (idea, Dave) that eating your companion and best friend was a cool idea.

Somehow, probably through the backing of “Protect the Harvest”, Doink got a few moments of air time on Tucker Carlson last night and he didn’t waste anytime in making a complete fool of himself and totally decimating his argument that murdering horses for food is a good idea.

“It’s a welfare issue, Tucker.” Doink spouted.  “We can’t euthanize them because we would have tons and tons of TOXIC meat lying around…”

WHAT?  Isn’t that what we have been saying for years, fully backed by Dr. Marini’s white paper.

“And ders plenty of places that needs that meat like Mexico, South America, Africa…day would like that meat.”

So now you are a racist, too?  You have admitted that the meat is toxic but it is okay to ship it to developing countries and people of color?

Whoa.  Doink has put more than just his foot in his mouth but now he has shoved his head so far up his own ass that he is going to have to open his fly just to brush his teeth.  What a FAIL.

But I am simply so excited that this idiot proved our point on National Television and we did not have to spend one penny on a press release or a counter Public Service message to negate his points, he did it all for us and free of charge.

If you would like to learn more about this discrace to humankind and American ethics press (HERE)

And to watch the last of the horse eaters sink into his own black ooze click below…it’s enough to make you puke.  RACIST!!! (Counterpoint video at bottom of page…with FACTS)

Tomorrow’s Feel Good Sunday will clear your heart and mind from the scourge, stay tuned.

  1. Brilliant commentary, R.T.
I bet Cabo is really excited for the free plug they got! I don’t eat meat but even if I did, I damn sure would stay away from their taco joints. Asa matter of fact, knowing they serve horsemeat, I will boycott Cabo! 😊

  2. I couldn’t watch after Tucker looked horrified and asked who we’d feed that to. Even Tucker for a moment looked like he had a lightbulb moment. Doing actually believes we can feed toxic “food” to people and we can feel good about that? Never mind I can’t and won’t eat my friends.

I’m just glad I’m off cow.

    (ps…I call Zinke…Stinky.)

  3. This is the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard. 90% or more of the horse population in the USA have been given medication that have been proven to be harmful to humans if consumed. The wild horses should be left alone. They should be protected by our government and the ongoing round ups and torment of these beautiful animals is utterly disgusting and the human race should be ashamed! If this behavior and practice continues then it won’t be long before the equine race will be extinct.

  4. Yahhhh..hmmm do you think the horse meat had anything to do with the deaths of these total idiots and horse haters!! Thank you for sharing RT I love it! The Doinker has proved OUR point! Now if those Knuckle Heads in Congress would get off their dead asses and do their jobs just maybe WE would be able to save Americas horses both wild and domestic. Plus the other poor equines sent to their death in these appauling places! Everyone reading this should send this on demanding that the US STOP contaminating the World food supply and PASS.HR 113/American Safe Food, Safe Horse Export Act!! Rt thank you again for.sharing!!! Love it!!

Hermiston doesn’t want horse slaughter plant on its doorstep
HERMISTON – Once wide open to virtually any industry that promised payrolls and jobs, the eastern Oregon town of Hermiston is taking a stand against the latest business poised to land on its doorstep.

But livability is an issue for Hermiston’s 16,745 residents, and a slaughter plant might discourage other enterprises from coming here, Severson said.
“We are the fastest-growing community in eastern Oregon,” he said. “I’ve had people come up to me and say, ‘Thank God that you took a stand against the horse slaughter plant.'”

Dave Duquette, a Hermiston horse trainer who is organizing the slaughter effort, said the City Council is missing a bet on a proposal that would employ 100 workers, slaughter up to 25,000 horses a year and inject $35 million into the local economy.

He hopes to have the 20,000-square-foot plant in place by late 2013. Investors have bought 252 acres near the junction of Interstate 84/Interstate 82 for the operation, he said.

The push for Horse slaughter and BLM Secret Planning Documents…just about the same time.

Groups push to slaughter horses for meat, possibly starting in Oregon
    The Oregonian,
    July 18, 2009

    Richard Cockle/The Oregonian

Stephanie and Dave Duquette lead a 6-year-old quarter horse gelding to a corral at their horse training center in Hermiston. The couple are active in pushing to reinstate U.S. horse slaughtering and processing into meat for export.

Ranchers, Native Americans and others are pushing for the renewed slaughter of horses in the U.S. – possibly starting in Oregon- and processing them into meat.

Groups are lobbying Congress to introduce a bill this summer to allow the U.S. Department of Agriculture to resume inspecting horse meat for human consumption. That would reopen the door to foreign exports.

In addition, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs are considering building a slaughter and processing facility – possibly for pet food – on their reservation north of Madras, as recommended last spring by a coalition of Northwest tribes.

The success of either proposal is far from certain. A congressional spokesman said bills that favor slaughtering horses face a chilly reception, and a tribal spokesman said it’s too early to say much about the Warm Springs idea.

Congress has given mixed signals on the issue. Lawmakers attached a rider banning USDA inspections of horse meat this year as part of an appropriations bill. In addition, bills pending in the House and Senate would amend the 1970 Horse Protection Act to prohibit transporting horses to slaughter; the tougher Senate bill would make it a felony.

At the same time, a law passed in Congress requires the BLM to destroy unwanted wild horses or sell them without limitation — meaning many could go to slaughter, Glenn said.

  8. I always love your posts RT and I’m completely on the side of the horse… But I think DuCrap’s reference to being toxic to the environment was because of the amount of euthanized horses that would be going into the Earth, etc. I believe he stated that about the same time he stated a hundred fifty thousand of them go to slaughter every year. And the picture I got from that, in my mind, was all the blood and everything that flows out of a horse during the slaughter process… So it’s all going somewhere anyway. The least Environmental hazard would be to cremate them all, after Humane euthanasia. But that said, I don’t think the average Tucker listener got it that the meat is toxic before euthanasia and frankly I think that argument is less effectiveto rally the public as a lone argument, than one of humanity and the incredible boon to the health of society being around horses is.

    • I got this same interpretation, that Duquette was referring to the stark truth that killing a horse by euthanasia (drugs) creates a toxic carcass from the chemical cocktails used, as well as the sheer volume of resulting mess.

However, I doubt cremation would be a viable option — it requires massive amounts of energy, creates emissions, still has byproducts (cremains) to dispose of which may still be toxic, and of course the sheer logistics involved.

Sadly, I don’t think the average person has much interest whatsoever in horses anymore, other than a mild curiosity, much less how they live and die, or why. I don’t count myself in that group but bump into this apathy on a near-daily basis.

  9. TOXIC waste? Yes Doink admits horses including deceased from slaughter are toxic waste. In other words the meat IS TOXIC. THE MEAT IS VERY TOXIC TO CONSUMERS. THEY ARE ADMITTING TO SENDING WORTHLESS HORSES AS HE PUTS IT TO BECOME WORTHLESS MEAT TO SEND TO UNSUSPECING CONSUMERZ. THE WILIPEDIA SAYS SUE WALLIS WAS WRONG NOT 50 PERCENT OF THE EU CONSUMES IT….THE WIKIPEDIA SAYS ONLY A FEW COUNTRIES CONSUME IT. THE MISKNOMER HE MENTIONS IS BECAUSE IN THEIR FIRST TYRADE WALLIS/DUQUETTE CLAIMED FRANCE WAS NUMBER HORSEMEAT COUNTRY. I CONTACTED A LOT OF PEOPLE IN FRANCE WHO CONFIRMED NOT TRUE FOR DECADES AND THEY WENT DOWN TO 1 ABBATTOIRE TO A SINGLE BUTCHER. SO HE KNOWS NOW NEVER CLAIM FRANCE AGAIN.

  10. RT, I truly love you! Bravo. You always hit it home!

I watched that jerk and immediately tweeted to Tucker about carcinogens. And that Americans don’t eat horses.

I will say that I was sorry that Tucker didn’t seem as knowledgeable about the subject as I would have liked him to be. He did seem to be on our side. At least I hope so!

    • Doink ALWAYS Reads blog posts by RT!! always has, always will — UNTIL the cancer from eating TOXIC horsemeat eats his own brain (which, I grant, could be a distinct possibility at this time? ). Also, I kept thinking : IF you can actually horrify and stupify (even) Tucker Carlson… On Air… what further evidence of ridiculous irrelevance could one ask for?? just sayin’ – even the dimmer bulbs apparently can show a bit of light amongst total unrepentant darkness of the brain…

  13. Yes..if you use drugs to euthanize a horse, those chemicals make the meat toxic. It does not start out that way. But you are very good at twisting the truth to fit your uneducated agenda.

    • All US horses have Bute in their bloodstream, without adding any other drug to the list, and THAT is carcinogenic and THAT is why horse meat is toxic for human consumption.

  14. LOL, he is always entertaining to listen too you hav to admit. I bet he says Crik instead of Creek as well. BUTTTTTT he is on the tucker show and we are not? Also NOT all US horses have Bute or other toxins in their system, I have 3 horses that from foals have never been given Bute nor any vaccinations as well. BUT that isn’t the point, toxic or not, it is simply unethical to kill horses to eat in this country as they are considered companions, not food sources. Just because another country is willing to eat them, toxic or not, is not a reason to change our majority morals for the few that wish to make money whoring out their grandmothers or eating horses for profit. I don’t eat Macaws either just because they do in the rain forest of South America and I don’t Kill Zebras just to hang their skin on my wall or walk on it and most people don’t as well. My question is how do WWE get someone as yourself (R.T.) on a nationally televised news program? that is really the important question.

  15. Just to add to RT’s comment, it is the administration of a banned drug like bute that makes a horse ineligible for slaughter for human consumption not whether they find it in the blood stream.

  16. dd claims he has no personal interest in horse processing. What a dicey guy. He is the paid equine specialist for Protect The Harvest (founded by Forrest Lucas of Lucas Oil — which sponsors many horse industry events & professionals). PTH membership, which pays DD’s salary, lobbies for “back yard” horse breeding business (esp AQHA and AHA) in which excess horses from breeding ventures are regularly processed (sold to slaughter factories). Accepting money from people who demand horse breeding & processing business models constitutes a personal interest in horse processing. Temple Grandin, humane animal slaughter specialist, once favorably consulted with the Pro-Slaughter Gang. She also has said that rampant back yard breeding of horses is a problem that must be stopped.
