Fixed Wing Aircraft Disrupts BLM Wild Horse Helicopter Stampede

On Friday while a legally scrutinized helicopter harassed wild horses over Barren Valley, Oregon another Bureau of Land Management (BLM) contract helicopter was, itself, harassed as it attempted to stampede wild horses off from their rightful range at Spring Creek Basin, Colorado into awaiting traps for either adoption or long-term obscurity in public funded compounds located in the Midwest.

The False Bottom at the Bottom of the Barrel in Wallis World

hese comments really hit home as both my wife, Terry, and our good friend and Director of Wild Burro affairs at Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Marjorie Farabee, have had their lives turned upside down due to the wild fires in the Magnolia, Texas area the last 10 days. The fire has come just scant miles from both of our ranches. Terry still has an evacuated equine guest or two with our rig located and loaded to roll with the herd while Marjorie has many of her 107 charges off in alternate areas. There is nothing either funny or at all related to eating horses regarding REAL responsible horse people attempting to save the lives of their valued equine charges. But the sick and twisted Wyoming State Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis and her impotent lap dog Dave “Doink” Duquette can see an opportunity to slurp up horse blood at every turn, even in a tragedy. Their perversion is despicable. Thanks Vicki for continuing to expose then for what they are, the very dredges of human society.

Critical Week In Stopping the Flow of Cross Border Horse Slaughter

Introduced in June by Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA), the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (S. 1176) would prohibit the interstate/international transport and transfer of ownership of any equine intended for slaughter for human consumption. If passed, this bill will finally stop the flow of U.S. horses into Mexico and Canada, where they are processed for their meat and eaten overseas.

A Moment of Reverence, Respect, Remembering and Revelation

On this day, September 11th 2011, there will be flurry of articles, news stories, editorials and activities relating back to the cataclysmic events that occurred ten years ago, this day…as well there should be.

The pain, misery and suffering that the twisted human spirit waged against innocent fellow men, women and children does not heal or even blur with time, it only smolders in the background like the embers of the burning wreckage left behind on that dreadful day.

We see, hear, feel and taste the perversity of mankind on a daily basis through the news and events of our time but ten years ago the rank evil manifested itself in such a way that tens of thousands of lives were damaged and touched around the world, never again to be the same.

Food Network’s Pioneer Woman Show Smells Like…???

I specifically went in to the premiere episode of Pioneer Woman knowing nothing about Ree Drummond or her family or her sprawling ranch. I didn’t want to be influenced by the alleged throngs of blog-readers who have her placed atop some high pedestal. I wanted to form my own unbiased opinion of her and the show, which I most certainly did. And my opinion is this: WOW. IT SUCKED.
