ROCKVILLE, Mo. — The primary backer of a proposed horse slaughtering operation in western Missouri said she isn’t giving up, even though plans have stalled because of legal problems surrounding the plant that was to be used for the business.
As Wyoming swelters under the summer heat, as the ash and dust from its forest fires spread out across the Western states, as a sustained drought deepens the fissures in its barren expanses of scrub and rock, the battle over the fate of thousands of its wild horses has just exploded anew in court. Here is a nasty bit of litigation worth watching for many different reasons, not the least of which is that may help more people better understand the magnitude of the economic and political forces which are currently arrayed against the federally-protected American mustang.
Most folks change their underwear everyday, not Wyoming’s radical, ranting, small town, part-time, State representative, “Slaughterhouse” $ue Wallis. Instead of donning clean undies, everyday, she prefers to fabricate and reinvent a new organization in which to hide behind, everyday. Yup, that’s right, in only the last few weeks she has gone from “United Horsemen” (AQHA spawn) to “Unified Equine Equine” (a failed front to bring in foreign investors to slaughter U.S. horses) to now the illustrious “International Equine Business Association” which consists of ole $ue, (who never gets out of Recluse, WY on her own dime let alone go anywhere “international”), a Canadian horse slaughter big-wig and some dude who is supposed to represent the “Eurpean Union (honest, that is how $uzie spelled it, remember her limited education) Mexico, Argentina (I know there should have been an “and” there but I am pulling direct from Wallis’ debacle)
So, lets see, on this planet, we currently slaughter cows, pigs, chickens, lambs, baby cows (veal), goats, oh, and probably lamas somewhere and anything thing else that breaths, walks, eats, beats and craps…and eat it.

Whose principal joy is in moaning
Of alleged evil forces
Behind those who love horses,
And who fight against slaughter plant zoning.
