RT thank you for checking up on Cloud. He stole my heart almost 5 years ago and REFUSES to give it back! I was distraught to learn he had lost his band, was hurt and hadn’t been seen.
I’m going to see him in mid Aug and hope to learn LOTS about all the Pryor horses. How these dynamics work. How Cloud “told” his mares it was time to move 4 years ago.
I know he lost Encore. But maybe having two mares for the time being will be easier on him.

All of the show was interesting but I especially liked the explanation about how each member of a wild horse herd has a “job” – especially the “job” of the herd stallion and the lead mare and also how individual animals have different personalities. Great show!

There’s always more to learn about life in the wild. We see glimpse of it in our domestic Horses, but the only way to truly understand Wild Horses is to watch them in their natural environment. That is the ONLY way to learn about them, and they have so much to teach us.
