  1. Clydesdales… These magnificent Drafts, like ALL the other ‘work horse’ breeds.  It brings (almost) tears to watch their commercials every. time.!!!
BUT - why do we allow such horrid treatment to many being used & ABUSED by the likes of Amish community etc. to THEN to be dumped in terrible condition at auctions??
Where is the Law for their (all equine) protection & why are we (horse(wo)man) allow this to continue? Truly, how can you adore one & not the thousands of others literally suffering in silence. There needs change NOW.

    • Actually, “liking” your comment doesnt quite do it! I agree – these horses are beautiful & well cared for but there are so many that arent that lucky. What is being done to our Wild Horses at these BLM roundups is beyond unlucky.

  2. Please everyone notify your congressman about the abuse OUR Wild Horses & Burros are suffering at the hands of the BLM and cattlemen. Taxpayers are giving millions to cattle ranchers to be contractors/private warehousers from the BLM to round up these animals. More than 80% of money allocated to the BLM goes to these contractors to get rid of Americas wild ones. It’s truly sickening to watch and realize not one government agency is stopping this from happening. Ranchers have such a strong/$$$ lobby in D.C. that no one wants to cross them plus lots of $$$ changes hands! Americans need to get more involved by writing, emailing and calling your reps. This must stop before they are all erradicated, this is happening right now!

BLM reports there are too many wild horses/burros on public lands when the truth is there are too many/millions of cattle. Ranchers are getting rich using our public lands to graze their cattle/sheep for their own greed. When wild horses & burros are removed from the land cattle take their place. Does this sound like there are too many horses on our public lands, I don’t think so! Many Americans don’t know this is happening. We need to get the word out to the public so they can contact their congressman. Wild horses & burros need the publics help to save what is left of our iconic wild ones. Please help!

    • That says it all! The more people who email, comment, call their congressman and senator regarding OUR (the American citizens) WILD HORSES – the better. Thats how the original Wild Horse & Burro Act got put in place! Its been “amended” way too much in the favor of livestock grazing, mining & development. Our “representatives” really need to be reminded exactly WHAT they were elected to do. That seems to be escaping far too many of them right now.
