The Force of the Horse

Audio Post: I Come to You…

It has been a difficult week for the horses:

The only good piece of news that came out this week was that Wallis’ and Duquette’s horse slaughter cult, “United Horsemen”, is out of money and with any luck the bloody duo of deception will slip off into fiscal ruin and oblivion.

So with all of that behind us let’s look forward to a bright week where we can effect positive change not only for the horses but for ourselves as we do have such power. ..and I would like to give you an insight into that power here, on Sunday, a day of rest.

We are going to do something a little different than we have done before, instead of writing text I am going to read the text for you so that you can sit back, close your eyes and on concentrate on the impact of the words that you hear.

It’s my Sunday gift to a great bunch of human beings…this is a small piece that I wrote, last year, for Sonya Richens’ documentary, “Healing Power of Horses” and is used, in part, towards the end of her film’s demo trailer.

I hope you enjoy and to everyone, may the Force of the Horse© be with you!

  1. So beautiful, so true, so thoughtful, so full of wisdom, for anybody who has ever loved a horse, as those of us do so now, we know and feel everything said here. Thank you, RT, very very much for this.

  2. Thank you for the gift of your heat-felt spoken “from the horse” words – straight to my heart – thank you.
I’ve heard it said that the eyes are windows to the soul…however, I often wonder if God watches me through the eyes of my horse…I pray she finds me worthy of her gifts of loving trust and friendship…I pray that we continue to find the strength we need to face the sad cruelties, ignorance and blindness in an effort to stop the pain, creating change to compassion, understanding and kindness.

  4. Anyone who has ever loved, and been loved by a horse will recognize these heartfelt words. Talk about unconditional love and forgiveness – you’re talking about a horse. Why they put up with us at times is beyond me, but I’m so grateful they have tolerated my mistakes in the past, and taught me the true meaning of forgiveness. RT – until you are better paid – Thank You for this gift tonight! Blessed Be!

  5. Tis truly a lovely legacy our horses have done for mankind. Sad, that man has chosen to dismiss the credit that the horse has done to the human race. The reading has brought to light the divine mystical right that the horse has in its soul. Thank you! Let’s bring these wonderful beings back to their rightful place – the land to be free and prosperous!

  6. What the ancient world gave us is now in chaos. Love and respect are ignored and too many lives destroyed. This became a war when we could not save the wild ones with our intent and truth. Winning has a high price but losing is even higher. To keep up this fight we need all our strength, smarts and resources. Save all you can and write new bills. Address all aspects. Don’t give up. mar

  7. The horse has been more instrumental to humankind than many realize. In this world, the few who influence with their wrong decisions the abysmal fate of our horses, ought to be attending a compulsary crash course on equines in all aspects, whether it is to protect our wild mustangs and burros or to protect all other horses at risk who are the result/victims of ignorant overbreeding and exploitative industries. To take time and smell the roses to explore the depths of a bond possible between equines and humans is one experience that these people so hell bent on benefitting their own agendas should go on a fieldtrip for.
We need to get a new anti-slaughter bill going. The current HR503 is lost and we need to contact our legislators again on this. With the predominant budget mess, once again created by human failure, it is again the animals who depend on us, being put on the back burner of our politicians’ agendas.

    • Here, here. Tomorrow is a new day and what better time than Monday morning to call the White House 202-456-1111 and say No More Slaughter for the HR503 Bill!

  8. It always amazes me that the horse is so persecuted by humanity.
This is an animal beloved by God. This is the animal that will carry Christ back into the world for God’s full justice against evil.

  9. How comforting , so true, so beautiful, I feel those words everyday for my friend, and our magestic ally, i am so ashamed that some would hurt him , to me he is all the beauty in the world, my wish for him is to be free, for all he has done and will do,in the future, I also wish for those who would harm him, would just take a moment to observe him and be able to see him for what he is , He is here because he has a purpose, many of them ………for those who will not understand him ,i feel so sorry, because they will never know a true friend and how wonderful he is…And what gifts he has to offer……He has always been there for us, I will always be here for him…………His only wish is for freedom, I am here to make sure he gets it……….

  10. WOW!! 🙂 That was powerful, spiritual, & awesome!! The power & bond of love & trust transcends all!! I saw that small, but, at the same time, huge, emotional connection Sun. between our 14 yr. old daughter & the sweet, beautiful horse she will soon be leasing. Our daughter poored out some water from her bottle to share with with her new friend, & it was happily & eagerly lapped up with a few extra “kisses” thrown in! Horses are truly one of God’s most amazing creatures!! How some humans can even think of being cruel to a horse, or, any animal for that matter, is beyond my comprehension. Sometimes I wonder if because horses are mentioned frequently in the Bible, if that could possibly be a reason some people hate them & persecute them??
