The treatment tank at the Cavel horse slaughterhouse in DeKalb, IL, taken just months before it closed in 2007. Cavel was never in compliance on its discharge during its period of operation.

Do Senators not on this committee ever vote on this? None in my state are on this committee, though I have written all of them.

Once this comes out of the Committee, it will go to the floor for a vote by the entire Senate.

Thanks Debbie. One more question, once the bill is presented to the full Senate (and presumablly the House at the same time?) are any further revisions possible or do they simply vote up or down? In other words, are the only revisions made during the committee markups, or can they happen at any time as long as enough Congressional members vote them in?

A bill can change drastically from the time it comes out of Committee and before there is a floor vote

This is an atrocity!!! Disgusting & horrific what lengths humans will go to.. 2 get land that by all rights belong to these magnificent creatures of Gods making. Its human greed that’s going to be their own undoing. Man had better quit playing God in deciding whom or what comes & goes in this world. God has already begun his rath all over this world with the devistations of many countries to bring all of us together as friends again instead of killing each other.
When will we quit trying 2 play God!
Leave the horses alone.. Let them run free!!

They just rounded up a large herd in Wyoming. More to be rounded up to sell. Where do they go when nobody buys them.
